Argenta History
The village of Argenta was incorporated in 1873, and is currently home to Prairie River Historical Museum, founded by the Prairie River Historical Society in 1996 by a group of locals. Inside the museum, you will find materials and artifacts dating from the late 1800s and up through the years. The building itself was originally the Argenta Grain Office.
