Doug Brown
Like nearly 99% of all Realtors, this was not my first profession. Before starting my real estate career, I proudly served our country and Armed Forces for three years then worked as a production welder and farmhand for many years. As I grew older, I began to look for new opportunities that gave my body a little rest and allowed me to use the experiences I’ve gathered over the years. I knew it was time to try something different; it was time to make a change. I was born and still reside in Bethany, IL with my wife, Joan, where we raised our four children. I’ve always appreciated the rural landscape, the values it instills, and the connection to nature it’s afforded our family. I wanted the opportunity to give back and serve the same communities that have provided so much to my family. In 2007, I decided to enter the real estate field and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. From small town to military to manufacturing and finally real estate,…

I wanted the opportunity to give back and serve the same communities that have provided so much to my family. In 2007, I decided to enter the real estate field and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. From small town to military to manufacturing and finally real estate, I’ve gathered a world of knowledge, experience and values that have helped me guide my clients through the maze of buying and selling their homes. I appreciate the value of communicating honestly, being consistent, providing good information and meeting the needs of my clients above anything else. And, I welcome the opportunity to put these values to work for you. If you have questions about real estate, from selling farm ground to finding your first home, don’t hesitate to give me a call!
