I've been a lifelong resident of Decatur, Illinois. It was 1974 when I began my Real Estate career. Over the past 38 years I have had the opportunity to see many changes in the real estate industry. What hasn't changed is the need for the personal touch of an experienced Realtor when one is thinking of buying or selling a home. While being in this business has had its challenges, these challenges have given me the opportunity to learn and grow and to share that knowledge with all my clients. While being in this business has had its challenges, these challenges have given me the opportunity to learn and grow and to share that knowledge with all my clients. I will offer you that experience and knowledge to make your buying or selling transactions a worry free experience. One of the many exciting times during my many years in real estate was receiving the Realtor of the Year Award from the Decatur Association of Realtors and a Certificate of Recognition from the Illinois Association fo Realtors. Outside of real estate I have other interests that, coincidently, enhance my real estate service. For many years I have been an avid deer hunter with both bow and shotgun. The skills needed to be a successful hunter includes patience, being a good listener, and determination that is also necessary skills when helping my clients meet their real estate goals. In addition my first love is riding my great mule, Gus and Darlin. The skills needed here - persistence and hard work have served me well in my business and also helped me win the GRI Worlds Champion Cutting Horse Award on Pigeon Five. I was blessed to have 53 years with my husband Jim. We spent many years in the Quarter Horse business, and many of my clients are from those happy times. Jim taught me the importance of relationships and that kindness and genuine concern for others are absolute necessities in the real estate service business. My clients are like family to me and at the end of each day I want to know I have earned my clients trust and respect with integrity and honesty to see that their needs and wants are met.
