Planting Flowers , Is It time ? :- )

WHO LOVES FLOWERS ????  :-)   I do, I do ~~~~~~   With the Weather that has just teased us so much these last few weekends, I AM READY TO PLANT :- )     My Tulips are peeking up already......and some of the Perrenials have already turned from brown to a light shade of green....   Let's Bring on Spring....  I am READY !!!!!!

As the month of March begins, I am really getting the itch to go outside and begin digging, cleaning things up and preparing the areas for planting.   This is the time of year that Buyers are driving around checking out Neighborhoods & Homes.  Seeing who the Homeowners are that take the time to clean their yards and do the outside maintenance that is required to make a House a "Well-Cared for Home."  Whether someone is preparing their Home to be put on the Market or not.  These "Spring Clean-ups" are very important for making your House Your Home.  What people see on the outside, can really help in how people preceive the inside.  Now I realize that sometimes a Home on the Outside looks better than the Inside ~~~~~ especially when there are kids, Homeowners that work a lot & other factors....  But that is what makes a House a Home.  I will always tell my Clients when I list their Home....  "OK, now we have to make it look like a House, a Generic House, that appeals to everyone"  And then I share with them that "My Home is Truly a HOME.  A Well Loved Home. "  Not trashed by any means, however I do have some papers on the counters, a laundry basket with unmatched socks & some Dust :- )  When we have Company, we still leave it as a HOME most of the time too :- )

A couple things that will make the outside look awesome is to rake & clean the yard and around bushes.  Get rid of all the dead leaves & branches from the Fall.  Sweep all the Porches, Decks, Patio's & around the Home.  One of the 1st things I Plant are Pansies....  they are hardy and can handle the few cold nights we may still get.  They come in a varity of wonderful colors.  I like Yellow the best !  By the Front Door is a great place to start with planters.  It helps to make it warm & inviting.

So enjoy the next few weeks, the tempatures are supposed to be great!  Take in the Beauty of all the Bulbs popping up as the Color of Spring Appears.  Check out my Facebook page at  for more tips ~~
